London Bio-innovation Week

London Bio-innovation Week is a series of satellite events in London that are planned for the days leading into the main Genesis event. Each session has a particular focus that enables both Genesis attendees and non-attendees to target the sessions most relevant to them. At the time of preparing this document, the confirmed events comprise: 

Monday 7 December

• JA Kemp seminar: China, IP and Dealmaking | 14.30 – 18.30 – Details to follow.
  
• Canary Wharf session with UKHSA: Trends in Antibiotic Resistance R&D | 17.00-20.30 – Details to follow. 

Tuesday 8 December Afternoon

• Afternoon Pitch & Learn session at ARC West London | 14.00-18.00
  This will be an opportunity for companies to present their value proposition to a select group of advisors who will provide feedback to help guide the companies to a better performance. There will also be a wider invited audience to enable 1-2-1 discussions over the networking. 

Wednesday 9 December

• Breakfast Seminar at The Shard: Funding Your Innovation Strategy, hosted by Mathys & Squire | 8.30 – 11.00
   where key aspects of dealmaking and commercialisation will be discussed
  
• Seminar “Mind the Gap: The Art of the Strategic Bridge”, hosted by CSM Cameron McKenna | 15.30-18.30 and will discuss how companies can bridge the Seed to Series A financing gap
  
• SLAS | ELRIG Meet-Up | 13:30-17:00
  Join SLAS and ELRIG for a free year-end Meet-Up! Catch up with familiar faces, make new connections, join a lively scientific discussion, and stick around for a networking apéro as we wrap up 2026 together! • Genesis Welcome Reception, hosted by CSM Cameron McKenna | 19.00 – 21.00
