Additional opportunities to meet the life science ecosystem around Genesis
Genesis Fringe is a series of satellite events in London that are planned on the days leading into the main Genesis event. Each session with a particular focus that enables both Genesis attendees and non-attendees to target the sessions most relevant to them. At the time of preparing this document, the confirmed Fringe comprises:
Tuesday 8 December Afternooon
- Afternoon Pitch & Learn session at ARC West London. This will be an opportunity for companies to present their value proposition to a select group of advisors who will provide feedback to help guide the companies to a better performance. There will also be a wider invited audience to enable 1-2-1 discussions over the networking.
Wednesday 9 December
- Breakfast Seminar at The Shard with Mathys & Squire where key aspects of dealmaking and commercialisation will be discussed
- Afternoon Seminar Hosted by CSM Cameron McKenna entitled “Mind the Gap: The Art of the Strategic Bridge” and will discuss how companies can bridge the Seed to Series A financing gap
- Evening – Genesis Welcome Reception.
More Fringe sessions are likely to arise, not least as part of the London Bio Innovation Week collaboration with ELRIG and SLAS.
